Après-ski en Courchevel

Courchevel is definitely my favorite winter resort. After skiing all day... activity continues: Not only with delicious Savoy food (my favorite dish is the tartiflette and the fondue) but also sled races, paragliding… and abviously the best fashion stores and art galleries. Moreover, this year the station was perfectly decorated with contemporary art sculptures as "Mademoiselle Courchevel" David Cintract.

Roland Garros 2013

Today was a great day! I've been to the final of Roland Garros 2013.

This Grand Slam it’s glorious, magnificent and simply magical: in every corner you can breathe the tradition and passion for tennis. But this game was really special for me, as the two finalists, Rafael Nadal and David Ferrer are Spaniards. The Philippe Chatrier was filled with "Vamos España" and red and yellow dreams. It was so exciting to hear the Spanish national anthem! (at the end of the post you'll find a video) Rafa is a legend, getting his eighth victory in Roland Garros!

Courchevel, Can't leave my suite!

The only problem about staying at Hotel Le Strato, Courchevel 1850, is that we never wanted to leave our beautiful suite because it was amazing. The mixture of historical objects and contemporary accessories with the latest technological accessories make a very comfortable and cozy suite. Hot tubs with TV and hydro-massage showers, centralized light atmosphere and even Toto washlet! All in comfort… Not to mention the delicious breakfasts that give us energy for a full day of skiing! The magic of this hotel lies in its great team that makes everyone feel at home, taking care of the smallest details.

We visited the beautiful and interesting City of Architecture and Heritage, perfectly located in the Trocadero esplanade, just in front of the Eiffel Tower. San Isidro 2013

We have come to Madrid because we could not miss the festivities of San Isidro, the patron of my city =)

As is the tradition, we were dressed as “ chulapos” of XIX  century. We enjoyed the Pradera of San Isidro, and of course the rich Spanish gastronomy: paella, prawn, seafood , fried fish ... And of course the typical San Isidro donuts : the intelligent, the dumb and Santa Clara donuts, and the legendary squid sandwich of the capital, not to mention the delicious “churros” with hot chocolate of “San Ginés”.

In the opening speech, we  enjoyed giant carnival figures, we danced a chotis, and we attended a concert of “zarzuelas” in the Plaza Mayor. We also went to the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas for a bullfight, and we saw an impressive fireworks show in the Retiro Park.

Some magical and intense days. I love Madrid, I am a proud chulapa  =D

F*CK Stripes

The stripes are so trendy this season ... but it has always been in the Cour d’Honneur in Paris with the Buren’s columns. I'm in love with my Kenzo New Era cap combin with my new matching pants, combined with my new sweatshirt F*CK from SheInside. The touch of color ... my yellow clutch with golden studs and my nail "Green Couture" polish as my earrings.

Spa in the Snow

One of the things I like the most about "Le Strato" Hotel in Courchevel 1850, is its fantastic spa "Nuxe" and especially its beautiful pool ... Nothing more relaxing than swimming in warm water while watching the snowy mountains of the window! I could not resist and I went outside with my new coral bikini to take some pictures in the snow with my friend the white polar bear =) Luckily the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were waiting for me to warm me up! But not all is about relaxing ... I still got some energy left to try the aqua cycling, softer but more effective than usual cycling.

No doubt, that’s the best way to recover after a long day of skiing.
