Les Grandes Eaux Nocturnes at Versailles

fashion blogger, fashion blog, cmgvb, luxury, versailles, grandes eaux nocturnes, chateau de versailles, lace dress, blue dress, blue lace

This weekend I have lived a magical night in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles.
"Les Grandes Eaux Nocturnes" is a summer event where all fountains are turned on at the immense garden of Versailles, accompanied by music and lighting carefully.
A 2 hours walk between groves, orangery, colonnades, enceladus and fountains with music as "The Bocanne primitive" and multiple lighting effects. At the end of the walk, lovely fireworks put the finishing touch to the evening.
I really felt like a princess, with my blue lace dress from ChicNova, perfect for the occasion =) As always, a wise site to purchase. It is a very elegant yet comfortable dress. I combined it with jeweled sandals, Armani Exchange bracelets and my clutch "Tomorrow I will quit caviar" from Petite Mendigote.
Hope you enjoy the pictures. kisses,

Châteaux de la Loire – Chambord

Today I bring you a post with many ,many pictures to show you our last trip to the Loire Castles .
We stayed in Blois , a city to 2 hours away from Paris , located on the banks of the Loire River . A strategic point to visit the different castles of the Loire.
On Saturday we visited the famous castle of Chambord . It is one of the most famous castles in the world due to its Renaissance architecture , which combines medieval forms with classical Italian structures . It was built as a hunting lodge for King Francis I in 1539.
Walking through its halls, and all the rooms made me feel like an authentic medieval princess. The tower and especially the double helix staircase , were so fun, and you have to be careful if you do not want to get lost.
After the visit we made a picnic in the gardens next to the river Cosson , and we still got some time to visit the city of Blois.
I choose a country outfit to match the castle. I love the lacy trend , and it seems that my grandfather, who is a visionary , love it as well: he gave me these lacy shorts and this vest. I love them! They are very comfortable and gave you a chic look . I combined them with a brown shirt with ¾ sleeves and a maxi collar , for a touch of color. In the morning , the weather cooled off , so I used my maxi fur vest to protect me from the cold ; and to be protected from the sun , flowered sunnies and  this straw hat with ears, I fell in love as soon as I saw it.
Hope you enjoy the pictures. Thank you so much for your comments !

Morning from Paris! Crop tops are one of the trends I like the most this season. Here you have a discreet and simple proposal for a spring walk. I like to combine it with a blazer and flashy accessories like my maxi sunnies and these wooden and jean wedges, which are one of my favorites: sexy and comfortable =)

fashion, fashion blog, fashion blogger, streetstyle, Estay, Madrid, restaurant, restaurante Madrid, barrio de salamanca

Today I want to recommend you one of my favorite restaurants in Madrid.
It’s called “Estay” , it’s located at  46 Hermosilla St, in Barrio de Salamanca (very close to Velázquez and Serrano )
Their specialty is the "kitchen in miniature" . The menu offers cold and hot tapas , portion plates and haute cuisine in miniature. Personally, I do love the squid and shrimp salad, it’s delicious ! Stuffed eggplant, goat cheese and caramelized onions, peppers and onions with anchovies ... But leave room for the dessert ... my favorite ones are : the trio of chocolates, and the millefeuille of red fruits with violet ice cream ! So far I loved everything I have tasted at Estay! It has a very good quality , good service and very reasonable prices . Another thing I like about this restaurant is that the walls are always decorated with paintings that are actually for sale . So while you eat , you can choose a new decoration for your home! Also they changed the artist quite quickly, so every time you go , you can discover a new painter .
If you have the chance, try it , and let me know your thoughts  = )

A Night at the UNESCO

Today I want to share with you a very special evening . I was invited to the headquarters of UNESCO in Paris on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people. I've always been very committed with the Palestinian cause. It was very exciting to be in the main hall of UNESCO. As you know its purposes are very important:  maintain peace and security through education, science and culture, with the cooperation between nations, in order to achieve universal respect for justice , law , the human rights and fundamental freedom without distinction of race, sex, language or religion.
We were welcomed by Irina Bokova , General Director of UNESCO, and hear the speeches of Dina Kawar , Dean of the Diplomatic Arab Corps in Paris ; Zohour Alaoui , president of the Arab group at UNESCO; Hael Al Fahoum , Ambassador - Head of the Palestinian Mission in France and Elias Sanbar Ambassador - Permanent Delegate of Palestine at UNESCO. Then, we enjoyed a musical evening "for the refugees " and the exhibition "Arts against arms." I was wearing a gold sequined cocktail dress combined with black salons.

Opéra Comique

diana dazzling, fashion, fashion blog, fashion blogger, Paris, streetstyle, opera comique, opera

Last week we went to the Opéra Comique of Paris, and attended the premiere of "Histoire du Soldat" by Igor Stravinsky, and "Amor Brujo" by Manuel de Falla. Although it is less famous than Opera Garnier, it was founded in 1715 and it is one of the oldest musical institutions in France. The building is tucked away in a little square, but is beautiful, inside and outside.
I chose a spring look: white dress, combined with pastel colors: green and white tweed coat, Harrods pinkbag, shell maxi sunnies, and my beige Valentino studded heels. Do you like it?
